My arms are falling...urban legends die hard!!

No Mr expert of my 2, it is worse to leave your heating on in ALL CASES!

Case 2 is equivalent to reducing temperatures!

Drive 1h at 180 km/h, 3h at 120 km/h (at 6L per 100km) and 1h at 180 km/h...you will have covered: 2 * 180 + 3*120 = 720 km and consumed 2 * 10 * 1.8 + 3 * 6 * 1.2 = 57.6L

Come on, I'll add 1 L to go from 120 to 180 because I'm really nice...

Consumption of the mixed route: 58.6 L

Average consumption per 100 km at 180 km/h and 120 km/h: 8.1 L/100 km!

Checked a few years ago in thermal, on the highway, at 130 km/h, and from the steep climbs, sometimes at 90.

Even more true on an electric car, having 100 km of autonomy, on the road, and one evening in August doing 120 km... All the flat at 80-90 km/h, and all the climbs, when there were people behind, sometimes at 30 km/h. I returned with a good margin, although the last 10 km I had turned on ....
