Hello,
I am interested in semi-rigid wood fiber panels to insulate the attic under crawls, but by doing some research I can not find any (list below) that does not have 6-10% polyester or non-biodegradable polyethylene (polyolefin) as a binder, both from the petroleum industry.
Do you know of panels that are more natural and especially recyclable at the end of their life?
I believe there are panels that use the resin or natural lignin of wood as a binder, but it seems that it only applies to rigid panels for insulation from the outside of the roof or walls, name of one. wood fiber pipe!
Sincerely,
Chimal.
