At all. Just read the 3rd paragraph again!
When it is hardly possible to post here or there, post elsewhere ...

"Hide your online presence:"...
What is the point ?
And where is the morality?
To give the opportunity to all registered members to navigate and stay on the forum, while they remain in “hidden” or “invisible” status ???
When you are a registered member, you assume your presence.
If we wish to remain "incognito"
(and I wonder for what honest reason?),
we disconnect,
and like any "guest", we hit the ad.

If the idea was to hide in order to harm, it would be intolerable.
There may be other reasons, such as escaping from a cybermobbeur, in this case it can be very useful and even recommended (and it even annoys these, proof that it is effective ...). There may be other reasons of this kind ...
But apart from that okay, no interest, on the contrary.

Cyber mobbing? Not know
There would be some who would be particularly exposed and the others not?
We're not on FB!
There is the admin and a modo who use this invisible status.
They certainly have their management or convenience reasons.
But for a few others?
With respect to all the others who connect, what does it look like?
We can also pretend to escape from a cybermobbeur, when the reality is to camouflage its presence continuously ...

That members of management have the possibility of using this function. Why not ?
But not to propose this option in the profile of the other members, would seem to me more convivial and honest for the community.
I would like the appreciation of the judgment of Christophe, or modos…

Yes, but it doesn't do much ...
Sometimes the PC stays on with the economical page loaded, and you are not there ... except for the status
Conversely you can be there (not connected) and the status makes you absent.
Seeing that people respond, that seems enough to me.

A
Indeed, it is sufficient.
Frankly, some should, since they have been put on "vacation" fo-fo for that!
Isn't this the projection of HIS own idea ?!
Since there is less talk about the resurgence of those who invented new nicknames (?) Thanks to the new moderation. What was before if not also a way of going unnoticed precisely in line with this totally hypocritical vision of the subject (?)
