A priori, the little black would also have blue eyes (rather rare therefore) ... to be confirmed in a few weeks ...

Ah my little chateline chose a nice sire !! : Cheesy:

Hello friends, some pictures of the litter ... at least 1 - 3 days ... they are starting to be curious and playful (between them):

The whiter has slightly shorter hair than the other 3.
Black has become the most vigorous today.
White, which was the most, has become the most puny at the moment.
The last will be the first ... Who said that again? : Mrgreen:

The mom is less and less with them.

I tried to put them in front of milk or pâté but they are not yet ready ... I am afraid that the mother will find it difficult to follow there breastfeeding level (the 4 small together undoubtedly make 50% of the weight of mom) ... How to do?

For weaning, with my puppies I had no problem. You play with them, that they are not afraid of your fingers etc .... then you dip the finger in milk / patée suitable for puppies / tomcats, that you put under their noses so that they play a little with. They end up licking their lips then the finger ...., you start again 2 three 3 times ... they start to follow your finger full of milk, you approach the bowl and dip the must inside, in front of them, they approach the muzzle recognize the smell and go! My 8 puppies started one after the other in the space of half an hour!

Once they have tasted / succeeded, it's no longer worth explaining to them, they eat each other : Mrgreen:

Okay Flytox, thank you ... but when do we know it's the right time for them? What is clear is that the mom can't take it anymore ... it seems to me ... so it's that it's the right time ???

The "snack bar" mom really appreciates the transition .... : Mrgreen:

Look on the net, there is plenty of stuff that tells you about weaning kittens. The theory is progressive ...., the practice is when they have decided to play with any dirt they will not wait until they are "old" to eat it.

At the beginning I put a lot of milk with a little puppy kibble (mixed). Then in (15?) Days, chui passed to the kibble for puppies with water (always mixed). All these little monsters have grown very well without problems, the mom making the milk supplement and cuddling. : Mrgreen:

I tested the finger method, they lick well afterwards but are not yet interested in "more" ... (don't see anything sexual in this sentence ... : Mrgreen: )

Today is a day trip: all 4 are out of their boxes in the living room and the kitchen ... and that meows thoroughly :) Funny the difference in sound ... I could call them C, D, E, F : Cheesy:

What did they get curious about in a few days :)

The big tomcat is not happy there :) He growls but he doesn't attack ...

Mom watching :)
