The solar balloon: a DIY idea for dad and others

Back in the 70s, Pip gadgets had supplied the very thin plastic solar balloon for my children !!
It worked.

The garbage bag is too thick often.

The use of solar balloons

by solar balloon » 31/07/11, 08:20

Hello everybody
Creator in 2000 of the site dedicated to solar balloons: http://ballonsolaire.pagesperso-orange.fr/index.htm I would point out that it answers many of the questions posed in this post.
Solar balloons are essentially an opportunity for all ages for an achievement whose result is spectacular.
Here are some examples in schools, scientists, professionals and amateurs:
- http://ballonsolaire.pagesperso-orange. ... autres.htm
- http://ballonsolaire.pagesperso-orange. ... 9-2010.htm
- http://ballonsolaire.pagesperso-orange. ... es2008.htm
and some examples of artistic creations:
- http://ballonsolaire.pagesperso-orange. ... rique9.htm
I would like to tell you the joy of seeing a solar balloon rise in the early morning, of flying like I did under this type of balloon.
What pride for these high school students from Tours who flew solar balloons up to more than 12000m by taking magnificent photos or these other students from Chamonix who made a large solar balloon and who went up in the air thanks to him !
So ... good flights!
cordially
Laurent

And this last flight also allows us to understand where nuclear waste from leaks or accidents from Loire power plants can go ...

When the (ir) security officers speak of 10km zones to evacuate around the power plants ...
