Hi,
Here I have a question on the compression of water in a tank.
I am wondering about the notion of incompressible fluids.
Here is :
a 10L tank, I want to fill it with pure water at a pressure of 10 bars (normally 100L of water at 1 bar).
Is this possible?
In addition, this tank will weigh 10kg or 100kg (weight of the tank not included)?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Harry,
Water is incompressible, unless you have huge pressures (thousands of Bar), and again ...
With 10 Bar, the volume is almost the same as at 1 bar. Kind of like oil.
Look for a large block of cast iron or steel. 8 Tons / m3, or 8kg / Liter
or pieces of loose scrap. An old tiller block, etc ...
Cheap and really dense
Otherwise, pour concrete into a 200L drum filled with scrap. Bourrin, but not expensive either (but less dense than pure iron ...
