Generating electricity with a water wheel

by RENVOISE » 13/12/08, 22:39

Hello,

We have a water wheel that makes 1.90 of diameter and turns 20 very minute and which turns all the year, I would like to produce current to feed my heating of house, could a wind turbine engine produce this current or something else; how fast and how to equip this system if it were feasible

:D Another lucky person:
We talk quite well about this subject on econology:

GoogleSearch? q = + hydraulic mill

Good reading :D

Hello,

You recover an old diesel 4 cylinders, you rotate it with your wheel, it will work in compressor and will heat up.

you recover the hot water from the cooling system and you inject the exhaust into your house.

in summer you plug the exhaust on a regulator and you do cooling! : Lol: and no kidding it works!

You did it ? It works ?
In the cycle, after the compression there is a relaxation. So the heat produced in the end ... :?

Or, just condemn the exhaust valve!
Like this:
-Admission,
-compression,
-relaxation,
-exhaust which is actually a recompression,
-re-admission -> pschuit when the valve opens: expansion into the atmosphere (admission makes rapid exhaust),
-and re-aspiration and it starts again

It would be a funny machine but it must do it

Otherwise the wind generator is not suitable I think, since it would be a little powerful, and small wind turbines have a rapid rotation.
A generator with a suitable multiplier is needed.

A belt multiplier system and a permanent magnet generator should make it possible to operate the mill while remaining simple.
With voltage regulation behind to charge batteries for example

Already you have to know what you want to do, then we look at the potential of your wheel ...

After choosing the most appropriate system

For heating, the compressor is a solution, these machines have a poor performance and the rest is lost in heat, for once this is what interests us :?

Making electricity and then using it for heating does not make sense!

The diesel engine is a simple solution to tinkering.

the compression time is useless, but the energy is restored in the following relaxation time, that is why it takes several cylinders.

If you want to make juice instead, a simple alternator with a system of regulation will do ...
The, I'll let you look, there is everything you need on the web : Shock:

: Cheesy: sorry, I can not help but say:
Great idea of the diesel engine, in addition, with that we can run the car with compressed air of Mr. Negre : Cheesy: Image

Oh yes !

That's why its engine will never work, the final balance is worse than a heat engine!

At work, on a compressor of 110Kw we recover 65 kw for heating, and there is still potential (air dryer, etc.)

Hello
you inject the exhaust into your house ...
and the vapors of oils?
in addition to a pac (is that it?) With hello air performance rots
if it is that for heating then it must be simple:
gear multiplier, asyncrone recup motor, condensers, no regul and elec convector output depending on the power available

it would be necessary to be able to estimate the couple on the tree to have an idea of the power that one can draw before launching in stuffs.

today it runs at 20trs / min but I guess it's empty?
what does the mechanism entail?
is it a wheel whose bottom dipped in a current or with a channel causing the water to come from the top of the wheel?
