Crows amaze researchers even more by creating tools from multiple objects
An international team of scientists from the Max Planck Institute and researchers from Oxford University revealed that crows in New Caledonia are able to create useful objects by combining useless and isolated elements. This cognitive ability was for the moment only observed in humans and Great Apes.

A rare ability

...............

According to experts at Cape Snake Park (South Africa) interviewed by News 24, these snake fights signal "a territorial dispute possibly linked to a female". The encounter, although violent, could not have ended with death poisoning one of two reptiles that do not bite. "It's like a sumo fight," say the experts. "We push and jostle and eventually the strongest wins. "

A lama takes the taxi in Cuzco Peru

Even Peruvians hallucinate and share this llama video on WhatsApp and Facebook.

The writing of HuffPost

UNUSUAL - Can not be more cliché about Peru and even Peruvians have fun. In recent days, the people of South America are exchanging a funny video on social networks and WhatsApp. It shows a lama riding in a taxi in the city of Cuzco.

According to our information, the scene, visible in the video at the head of the article, was shot by a couple of Peruvians visiting the tourist town of Cuzco. It takes place in the city center, near the Plaza de Armas (Ruinas street).

"In the mountainous area of Peru, it is very common to see people walking around with their llama. They often go to the large squares so that tourists take pictures with them and tip them," the person told HuffPost. who manages the @suarezconsultores Facebook page which promotes lasting relationships between humans and animals and who hastened to relay this astonishing but rather "typical" sequence. "It's quite common that they take the taxi, relativizes @suarezconsultores. In Peru, the llama is a domestic animal."

Similar videos have already caused a sensation in the country, including on television. Moreover, France is not left out. Remember Serge, the lama who made a tour on the Bordeaux tram with five drunken young people ... It was five years ago and his story too had been around the world.

Crows still amaze researchers by creating tools from multiple objects [/ b]
...

Yes, the intelligence of these crows is impressive. A year or two ago, we saw a very complete report on Arte of a scientific study on an American species.
These crows, for example, sting metal hangers in private individuals who had laid their linen outside, and reformed them to make their nest.
In a lab test, they are able to use 2 tools consecutively, a first tool to open a box where there is a second tool needed to access the food. This is the sign of an impressive project design from the beginning.
We also discover young people who, like teenagers, engage in games and experiences like acrobatic flight.
Finally, and that's what surprised me the most, they have a sense of death. When one of them dies, they all gather in a tree, in silence for a minute or two, and then fly together.

It is to this kind of observation that we understand that between man and animal, there is no difference of principle, only a difference in the level of cognitive capacity.

the man is an animal, not a species apart from the rest. Given the limited physiological resources at its disposal, it is its adaptive and imaginative capacity that compensates for this lack of resources.

The parrot who makes his purchases with his connected speaker
https://www.lepoint.fr/insolite/video-le-perroquet-qui-fait-ses-achats-avec-son-enceinte-connectee-22-12-2018-2281475_48.php
By watching his mistress use the vocal assistant on a daily basis, the animal has managed to understand how it works and started to tell him about it. [...] Rocco had learned to interact with Alexa and give him orders. The parrot began by playing music before learning to turn on or off the light via voice control.

But, if Rocco has done much talking later, it is that he managed to order from Amazon and to be delivered purchases before his mistress is aware. [...] Rocco had already been able to order and deliver leeks, grapes, strawberries or ice cream. Marion Wischnewski was also surprised to receive a kettle and a kite at home.
