Smile, you are watched!

An ongoing study, funded by the Ministry of the Environment:

The place of the NICTs in the emergence, in the appropriation and in the debate around an environmental object: the case of the polluting discharges.

Responsible: Mrs Nicole d'ALMEIDA, CELSA - GRIPIC, University Paris IV Sorbonne.
Duration: 24 months. Discipline: information and communication sciences.

The objective of this research is to analyze the construction and circulation of environmental discourses as they develop around and / or from NICTs. It is a question of analyzing the rhetoric of the actors, their strategy of enunciation and publicization of the environmental question in a media landscape where the authors operate a particular focus on the computerized media. More specifically, the project aims to study the extent to which NICTs modify or reinforce the process of formalization, publicization and discussion around an environmental object: polluting discharges.

It is to be hoped that the search for alternative energies is well regarded as related to the problem of "polluting discharges".
