I think you misunderstand me.

What will make you consume energy is moving this mass of 1kg upwards.

You have the impression of spending energy holding 1 Kg of matter because you are not perfectly still and your muscles will therefore work to compensate for external or internal disturbances of your body that is not used to worn this mass.

Because an object placed on a table does not create energy !!!

I am not a specialist in magnetic motors (called quantum) but I am sure that the magnet is gradually degaussing .... I am sure that the book of the latest news about gravity could answer your question. ..

I recently saw an experience in a book:
The device consisted of an inclined ramp at the top of which was a strong magnet.
On this ramp, a rail.
just before the magnet the ramp was pierced and communicated with another rail that started again at the initial point.
The idea was to use the energy of the magnet to save potential energy to the solid and recover it during its fall.
Unfortunately the magnet had to be of such power to attract the solid that it never fell! (Despite a wooden wedge before the magnet)

Do not despair, so let's take a look at the site http://jlnlabs.ifrance.com/jlnlabs/html/atelab.htm
