At least 337 homeless people died in 2008 in France. How do we know? Only thanks to the work of a collective, Les morte de la rue, with limited resources, but which collects information through a network of associations set up for six years. The street kills, but it is a reality kills.
Mediapart, during its investigations, realized that the State, on the other hand, was silent on the subject. Or more exactly that he was lying by omission. Faced with this unbearable denial, we proposed a partnership to the Les morte de la rue collective which led us to the creation of an observatory, via this map of France, the data of which will be updated every week.
