As if you did not know Christophe!

How did you do to "manage" the forum, when there were> 100 messages / day : Shock: it had to heat up! : Mrgreen:

I inform you regularly almost every month according to the periods, for years ...
So you know very well what it is : Cheesy:

To answer you:

- I can not say that this drama does not contribute these days, it's forced;

- but it is not now that it has risen again to its highest level, it is the 10-12 2014 it was up the highest, 1 months before the attacks!

Image

- that is to say if these attacks contribute little, and only raise the seasonal average (particularly low, historically at the beginning of January);

- it is therefore on the contrary a point which pleads to demonstrate the tendency of the curve to go up soon;

- thus, what do you attribute to the increase of attendance / participation due to the attacks? only has a temporary value;

- the most important is to note that this is a credible confirmation of the uptrend, over a month already, there are currently rising fluctuations;

It is, then, the hollow, slightly ascending, of the Gaussian curve, point bar;

- it can always go lower if an admin is still doing the stupid thing : Mrgreen:

- at the same time it only has a confirmation value of the uptrend;

- but here we are, we know where we are in the "adjustment variables" in the current period: and it is already enormous;

- The average is extremely simple to check: all posts are numbered with numbers that follow each other, just take any day, find out what post it started and where it ended, and that's it.

Nothing wizard.

But does it seem like it bothers you? : roll:

Back 1 months later: patatra! Location on 15-02-2015:

Against all expectations (and which fully justifies this thread) while participation / attendance was on the rise in late 2014 and early 2015, a month after this surge, participation is this time in free fall, since it has fallen in below the symbolic bar with an average value of "80 / day" (average since the forum exists) sad sad descent alas.

It should be noted that it is a "hollow"historically low!

Le forum had gone back to 81,6 last October, had come down again, then stayed a long time at 80,5 and taking the elevator, showing an upward trend and regularly marked on several days / weeks, before and during this period ... So not irremediable no offense to ominous birds: the good news is that the forum can still recover ...;)

and if I can ...

The number of messages is not the same as the number of visits

on the other hand, better 10 messages / day well written and relevant than 100 blabla messages or various quarrels.

And finally: we come here to read friends and interesting topics. Not especially for studying statistics.

Absolutely Remundo !!

And studying the statistics so much for a "simple member" is even ... intriguing! Is not it? : Shock:

in any case, it's original.

For Obamot, it has always been important. It is true.

I confirm, the number of messages written does not have a great importance: what is more important is the number of readers attracted by the quality of the messages

and it is more difficult to statistise: can we know how many times pass the registrants? I spent a lot more time there or forum was more active

but no matter the numbers, as long as this forum keep its quality, 2 times more drive or 2 times less does not change much

Yes like many others ...

I try to take the lead so that the attendance (and therefore participation) goes back up ... permanently!

Yes except that forum quality ... not read ... not used much!
