News ?

Hello Christopher,
not for the moment because we have other priorities (next move). That said, other than calling in specialists, it would not be reasonable to take the risk of attempting a well inspection on our own. Undergrounds, treasures, skeletons, ... this well thus retains all its mystery! :)

Hello,

Ok, that's what I've been telling you from the start: contact and let the local caving association do it ...

Perhaps she has already visited the hole and unraveled its mysteries?

I don't think an association visited this hole because it would have been secure: it is almost invisible and is located a few hundred meters from homes with children. On the other hand, it is likely that the owners of the land themselves made an inspection of the hole to see if a treasure was hidden there!
There are also several castles not far from the hole and on the internet we learn that the places have been agitated by various religious wars.

The region is very rich in archaeological remains that start in the Paleolithic (Escale cave, human traces dating back 800 years!), pass through the Gauls Salyens Celto-Ligures (funny video of Loran Deutch on the corner), then the Romans, the medieval, etc.

The problem is that all this buried archaeological wealth is expensive to be developed, does not bring in much, but above all is the fear of promoters and individuals who build and who fear to come across buried remains at the first blow. backhoe loader!
Suffice to say that many remarkable remains are left under the carpet by their discoverers!

This is the case of 3 of my neighbors who came across remarkable underground constructions while doing work or digging the foundations of their house or their swimming pool, and whom they preferred to keep secret so as not to be bothered in their work. ...
No I will not denounce them!

There are even "worse": a worker of the DDE told me that by digging a hole to make a bridge pile for an expressway, they came across a mass grave filled with skeletons with bladed weapons: their management told them. said to make everything disappear without saying anything ... This mass grave is located a few hundred meters from a remarkable archaeological site very well known internationally ...
It just goes to show that ancient history does not interest everyone, and does not mix well with media coverage when there is money at stake!

It's vast! : Mrgreen:

Maybe yes, maybe not, and you have NOT found “the spot” the place: 'Genius of the Alps'!

The index of the day: in this mythical place, “Humanity took a leap forward between 1968-1969"
