It is tests of behavior when a blade of the fan is blocked. the regulations require that the pieces be contained radially by the shielding (so as not to cut the cabin and the passengers who would be on its way ...).

the Musketeer Jodel 140 had this particularity
many microlights carry more than their weight although legally they are limited to an administrative weight, but structurally certain they are able to take more.
A guy who travels by ULM Rotax 912 100hp engine in the far north if he has a passenger, fuel for 6 hours, a fleece survival kit, it would surprise me that he is at regulatory weight. A selected pilot, to be legal and to run out of fuel, or to be overloaded for half of the trip, to consume 3 hours of fuel, to be regulatory on the return, to finish his trip.

For a single-seater:
Empty weight (wing + engine + fuel) = 25 to 35 kg
Useful mass (pilot weight
PTV (total flight weight) = 100 to 150 kg
Unbeatable mass load rate!
Good after must be motivated to travel with a paramotor ... It is sport more than a means of transport! But what a sport!

Wow!
I did a ride in an identical Beaver on Saturday October 8th and I did not believe it capable of such acrobatics in flight because I piloted it in the air and it did not respond to commands with as much agility but we were two, surely that the engine is not the famous Rotax 503 engine and I doubt very much that it is a student pilot who makes twirl this small device!
