Re: Is aggressiveness inscribed in the genome of the living?

The living world is mostly conflictual and competitive, whether intraspecies or interspecies.

Symbioses are rare, but they exist.

The individuals who reproduced the most, by equal force, were those who were the most aggressive, to appropriate the food, but also the females. It's not romantic, but it's so.

It is true also for the species, with adaptation equal to their environment, it is the most aggressive / predatory species which is essential in term of reproduction and conquest of the territory.

Aggression has thus been found and concentrated generations after generation in animals, of which the human being is a part, even if it differs in consciousness, but that is another subject.

I have repeatedly observed that in general and "in practice" what is needed is more strength and aggressiveness than being right. In the human species and in our sophisticated societies, aggression takes less brutal paths, but undoubtedly more perverse: corruption, scams, power games, political execution, hypocrisy and baseness of all kinds ... Jean de Lafontaine made a fable

With regard to the specific case of forums, some forumers are not there to really debate, but more by search for recognition, a certain intellectual narcissism, sometimes even an insatiable need to be right with "the last word". The contradiction then comes psychologically to make ugly the portrait they wish to portray of them, and the underground objectives of their debates, and when 2 forumpeople of this type meet each other and have opposing points of view.
