At the Icare Cup this year, I heard this expression "I am disappointed in good", a typically Swiss expression but I did not quite understand its meaning ...
As I know he has some Switzerland on forums, some clarification would be nice

You go toyet or what;)

Or:

As an anecdote, when I went to work in Paris in '91, I thought I spoke "real" French, while I only knew the Vaudois dialect. I was very surprised by the fact that nobody understood me ... In addition with the accent from home, pffff
We often wondered if I was Canadian.
A+

Re: "I am disappointed in the good": the Swiss expression to explain!
I confirm Christophe sometimes plays toyet (I put in italics because it is almost a foreign language) ...
For " very disappointed "The first step is indeed" meets against all odds, better than expected »
But that does not give the cultural context and why this term appeared in a context where the Vaudois had the experience that dictated the appearance of all citations (often delicious).
We have to go back to 1536, when VAUD switched to Protestantism invaded by Bern! Before its independence more than 250 years later, the Pays de Vaud (French-Catholic) was therefore occupied by the Bernese (German-speaking-Protestant) [...] thus the Vaudois following this "trauma" have always remained in the 'more or less ... out of prudence: these are "our Auvergnats to us" even though ... (maybe yes, maybe not ^^) there are probably modesty too ... Allied to a certain Swiss slowness (but apparently only ...)
So the term " disappointment in well "Is a bit of all this, it would express contentment, but it is" retained "Not to offend one who would think otherwise ... there is undoubtedly a poetic dimension and humor also ...
That is the context ...
If allowed to speak Vaud, it is always with the same modesty:
Georges Arès in his book "Speak Swiss, speak French ""declares
Indeed, we must add to it this Swiss cultural dimension, which is at the heart of a "culture of compromise..."
(I don't know if 1360 will be "a little okay with that", half that would be great already, I would be very disappointed... )

Georges Arès in his book "Speak Swiss, speak French ""declares
"Wonderful phrase Romande which the unconscious speaks openly. It was hoped a bad result, but it is good against all odds. Hence, disappointment, which admits candidly in "disappoint in well." So we say "good surprise in"; it is much more than a linguistic correction of the question. "
Indeed, we must add to it this Swiss cultural dimension, which is at the heart of a "culture of compromise..."
