econology Association: goals, means and functioning

by Christophe » 10/12/09, 17:30

This subject aims to present the goals and the "basic" functioning of the very young "Association Econologie".

If Econology interests you and you want to be an actor, please take a good time to read this topic and contribute!

History

For the record, the idea of the asso is not new, the 1er talking about it dates from ... 2005: https://www.econologie.com/forums/creation-d ... t1055.html

Then in early 2009, thanks to several members, we "officially" launched the creation of this Asso. This was done on the following topic. https://www.econologie.com/forums/l-associat ... t7049.html

Look at my 1er message that already gives some ideas of the pkoi of an asso:

The birth took a few (long) months but you will see (I think) that it is worth it.

Here are some copied / pasted Statutes and Rules that explains the goals, means and operation of the association.

Generalities

The association Econology:

- is a French association created in January 2010
- aims to work in France and Belgium and other "French-speaking" territories, notably via the Internet.
- has its seat in Strasbourg (capital of Europe).
- is an association of local law Alsace-Moselle (also known as Asso 1908 / 1924 or association of local law anyway).

It is the equivalent of the famous association 1901 but with a lot of differences all the same, especially in terms of management (the operation is kif kif).

Publication of the creation in the Official Journal (DNA for a Local Law Association)

The official publication was made in the Latest News of Alsace the 13 January 2010:

So much for the basics! It's not light and very "general": that's why we took time to finalize everything!

Important note concerning the Statutes (not modifiable): I do NOT want to hear "must by saying that" or "must change this or that" ...

Well, I'm interested in your story, where do I sign?

We now have an "administrative and legal tool" in hand that we will have to bring to life and use wisely for the dissemination of econology!

I seriously think we can do something very interesting with this Association! But the results will depend only on one thing: the motivation of each of us!

Contributions have been fixed for active and passive members at 18 €. Donations are unlimited (well yes ... :D ).

So you can already join, as an individual only, and make donations by check or postal.

For legal persons, society or other association, membership is also possible as an "honorary member or benefactor" but we have not yet defined the terms. The contributions will, logically, be higher.

The correspondence address is that of the president, namely (mine):

Econology Association
22 rue d'Almache
6851 Plainevaux, Belgium

Specify (for now it will suffice) on free paper: type of member (active or passive), last name, first name and address (if different from the check) and an email and your nickname forum if you are registered.

Contributions and donations should be tax-free up to 66% for residents in France but it takes some time for it to come into place and we have 2 or 3 stuff to check again! If you are not to know more about the tax exemption, read this document: https://www.econologie.info/share/partag ... nIJyYJ.pdf
(taken from: http://www.mdas.org/index.php?p=20 )

Last important question (especially addressed to regulars of forums: what type of project would you be interested in doing or having done by the association? ? In short, what do you want to do?

Roh how impatient elephantine but (very) good question!

The account is not created because to do it you need the newspaper publication. I have already contacted the bank, I rdv and I have all the doc except this publication.

The bank of the association. econo will be Crédit Coopératif.

The account should be created before the end of the year!

We need to make a Membership Newsletter pretty quickly too! :D

We could test materials (materials) that others do not ...

What are - for example - the best rechargeable batteries on the market?
Which economical, fluo-compact or LED bulbs 4W and +

Or, already discussed, take back tests carried out by "purchasing tests" or "x million consumers" and validate them with our claws by testing neglected practical aspects ...

Resume our best subject and make syntheses ...

These are just a few ideas, there are so many things to do ...

Aaaaah! What did you create a Belgian NPI as I had advised? : Mrgreen:

For the information of all: to create a non-profit organization in Belgium, things go very fast. You write the statutes (often you copy those of another), the associates sign, you go to the post office to pay the costs of publication in the Moniteur, with the receipt that the post office gives you, you go to the registry of the civil court of the corner with the statutes and your identity card. During the week, the pdf of the statutes is published in the Moniteur. (The monitor only exists on the internet)
If you have forgotten the status by going to the bank, no problem, just download them.

8) Nice job, it's very well put together. 8)
For projects: I already have a report late ...
Otherwise the aspect metrology and data logging laboratory is close to my heart.
I would see a project "extended energy footprint". I have a lot of measurements spread over several years ... The pooling of data according to the concept of BDPV (the database on photovoltaics), seems to me a way. other similar examples exist but only on the electrical consumption, the idea would be to compile everything ...

The status of passive member (for the association : Mrgreen: ), seems the only one within my reach. :?
I sometimes have some ideas, I know how to read counters and write values in a spreadsheet, my skills do not go beyond ... But they can give some grist to some, Michel Kieffer, demonstrated it.

Such projects, also include a development aspect of hardware and software solutions, the valuation of the work of the association can it be proposed by the shop site (marketing products developed by the association).

Glad you like it Citro.

Attention, the shop has nothing to do with the association. We must distinguish the 2: 2 are different legal entity, the asso does not work for the shop ... and conversely (even if the shop can sponsor the asso).

The association can (will?) Offer things for sale and this in all independent of our shop! Like tshirts ...

After depending on what we manage to develop with the association, yes the shop could be a "reseller" (among others) but hey we are not there!

But developing "products intended for sale" is not the first goal of the association ... we do not develop a commercial product so easily ...

I think there is already a huge amount of work to be done on the "dissemination of information ..." side and this is where we should start because it is cheap ... it's just time. ..

Ben me I would see the officialization of the management of the study on oil Laigret in particular since it is underway ... (it's been a while since I saw anything about it on the forum, by the way)

A study of the impact on prices of various subsidies for "ecological" equipment (PV, Thermal, Heat pump, Wind turbines, etc.)
Take the opportunity to denounce some false good ideas to these topics ...

Eventually, financing of prototypes for innovative materials. I'm thinking in particular of the things with the barbaric names that Remundo stuck to them, the finds of Pascal Ha Pham, Yves, Charles Sarrazin and many others ...
But I am aware that it can not be right now: let's wait for the contributions to come in ... (By the way, it makes me think of mine waiting for you ...)

Hello Econologists,

Well, I think the statutes are nice, : Idea:

As for Sycomoreen, I do not ask for anything.

I think projects are not lacking. :P Maybe my friend Pascal will have ideas to submit ... But there is also Laigret, the engine bench Gillier Pantone ...

So for now, I'm going to become a member and send a membership fee. I think Christine and Christophe will soon clarify the details of all this. 8)
