Which alternative fuel will be French?

by bdiem » 22/09/09, 19:57

I am a journalist, and my editors from The New Waver asked me for an article on alternative fuels. I know there are many tracks you can follow. For renewable fuels, there is ethanol and biodiesel. We can use rapeseed, seaweed, wood, wheat, etc. According to you, members of this forumCan France become a world leader by choosing one of these tracks? I harvest answers Friday 25 September.

1) not too good to divert food
to drive cars

(This is my first intervention in verse (green?) :D )

2) convert the vosne-romanée and the castle Yquem ethanol of
rolling; dear KM

Anyway, we already have a beautiful factory in Belgium: let the little hundred francs come to us!

So, I say NO, NO and NO

(houuuuuuuuuuuu! I'm going to make enemies tonight : Oops: )

An opportunity to be a world leader?
We have surplus milk. We lose 5000 non-exploited agricultural operators who close their business each year (not counting suicides).
There is the chemistry of milk to make plastics ...

It's simple : http://dispourquoipapa.free.fr/experiences/ex00018.htm

But here it is without oil and from a non-fossil material ...

France could become European leader in fuels by using the following alternative ... Compared to its European neighbors it could alternatively propose a complete tax of its petrolier fuel. : Cheesy: : Cheesy: : Cheesy: : Cheesy: Barely 20cts of the liter at the pump the whole Europe will fill up with us ...

Did I say something stupid???

It's so interesting, I did not know at all ...

You should make it a specific subject!

We already have some docs and discussion on non-food uses of agriculture et https://www.econologie.com/agriculture-l ... -2881.html

ps: the current milk still contains a lot of oil ... gray!

Bigre it's true that it's very simple! Christine you lend me your cooking? : Cheesy:

Now be careful, no plastic is like another: I imagine that this "dairy plastic" is not substitutable for all plastics!

Good must absolutely make a subject!

Like any basic plastic. In the industry they make treatments to give particular properties according to the specifications.

Leave me a little dreamy, because we are part of the world champions of intensive agriculture : the one where you need 3 liters of oil to make the equivalent of a liter of raw vegetable oil ????

(I exaggerate slightly, I think it's not far from 1 for 1).

As long as oil is very cheap and food still has a price (even if 20 cts the liter of milk leaving the farm, we can wonder!), France can be world champion .. .

It seems to me that we are witnessing the beginnings of a couac of this model ...

On the biofuels, the chamions of the world, it will be the countries which have a tropical climate and surfaces, for an extensive production ... Brazil, for example ... As long as they do not count the ecological damages, the erosion, etc.
