Huh? What?? Nourished ... Good uses, good uses, as you go! : Cheesy:

Whoever really wants, for urine: better take the second morning urination otherwise ...

To have it at home soon, we will have to install a urinal.

Of the color that you want, huh, (and let the uranais > quiet now!) : Mrgreen:

Chui may be missing something in this report .... but why the hell so much variety of animal species systematically reject this so precious liquid ...... while it is so good for health in drinking it ???????????? Millions of years of evolution to deceive so heavily by not keeping this precious liquid?

Reflection relevant, but no system is perfect.

With the green box I imagine a camper equipped with this system.
This would allow less waste water to be discharged.
What is more, an osmosis unit could complete the set in order to filter "non - urinary" water ...

We have already talked about it several times. Did had recently spoken about the aurin https://www.eawag.ch/fr/departement/eng ... se-durine/
The struvite production technique has been developed for a long time, but remains in the boxes as long as operating phosphorus mines, even with transport, remains cheaper.

In the meantime, we pollute rivers and aquifers by eutrophication, we create dead coastal areas while putting everything on the backs of farmers. : Evil:

Stop your chariot. "We" did not blame the farmers for everything, "we" added the various factors together and you can turn it around in all directions, the dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico is mainly caused by the intensive animal husbandry and agriculture.

The toilets of the future or the recovery of urine to make fertilizer that would replace those based on fossil materials (phosphates, natural gas). It is very technological and necessarily expensive, remains to be seen who will pay?
In the video, the purpose of the faeces is not mentioned: down the drain?

In Niger they are less complicated and get results.
urine contains NPK that can be used and is easily accessible, without requiring a lot of energy. Relatively sterile at the base, it can beeasily freed of all possible traces of pathogens by leaving it to stand at 22-24°C for 2 to 3 months. On a large scale, it would also reduce waste treatment expenses, while reducing wastewater pollution.

Over three years of use and 681 trials on the infertile and sandy soils of Niger, an average increase of 30% in yield was observed on those where Oga had been used. After having recorded increases in yields with Oga combined with organic manure, women farmers in particular were convinced enough to use it alone. Moreover, the difference was so clear that the practice spread to other surrounding regions. Two years after the first trials, more than a thousand women farmers had started using Oga to fertilize the soil.

Watch out for urine though, I urinated on some of my recent plantations (replanted trees...)...and not all of them survived! : Lol: : Lol: : Lol:

This may be the reason for their non-recovery but apparently you have to avoid doing it when the plants are too small because it burns their too fragile roots...
