A single trader had the equivalent of three days of US consumption in July (valued at $ 8 billion) - and here we are talking about a single trader ...
Same thing on the other raw materials.
Last night on the ZDF (2nd German channel) excellent program on speculation on food products, including rice. Except that the tens of millions of people starve as a result.
Nice start to the 21st century ...

So the biofuels that starve the planet, let me laugh

Nameless hypocrisy that this hypercapitalist system ... after we can always put that on the face of agrofuels or Chinese ... my c ** it's chicken ...

The fundamental is not in question ...

By cons I am amazed that the Georgian conflict has not affected that more than that.

Well, I did not expect it at all ...
As much as I knew 10 days before the war was going to break out in Lebanon, so much there ... nothing.

I sold at the end of July an order with the Georgians, I would see in September if they received it without incident ... It transited through the port of POTI which is still today under the control of the Russians.
