Ok Ahmed, nuance and clarification are welcome.

In my mind, "degrowth" means promoting downturns in consumption and the economy.

It is a vision that can be conceived and respected.

However, I do not personally judge that it is necessary to block the economy in order not to pollute or to solve the social and ecological problems in the world.

I believe that, on the contrary, we must stimulate growth through the 4th industrial revolution (after steam, electricity and IT), namely that of clean energy and systematic recycling of raw materials.

Only this approach allows developed countries to continue their development, but this time while respecting the environment, and at the same time countries in difficulty to finally take off.

Rather: This approach will allow developed countries to survive their development, but this time respecting the environment.
