good a priori for a battery you need an oxidizer and a reducing agent.

most organic products are reducing, for example sugar (hence the caramel? :) ), which can even be used to make explosives if mixed with a powerful oxidant like sodium chlorate (how many kids have had their fingers or limbs torn off by wanting to tinker with a big firecracker with the weedkiller from the shed and powdered sugar ... : roll: )

For the edible oxidant I'm more puzzled, bleach, hydrogen peroxide ... not very edible except at the end of use where it has been reduced to ordinary salt (sodium chloride) or normal water ...

But hey must also solve the problems of electrical conduction and contact and without metals, I do not see too much ... except if the carbon (activated carbon?)

Well no, he said “no metal” and sodium is an alkali metal https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium and na-ion batteries already exist.

In our batteries lithium-ion for example there are no metals as an electrode compound ... did you know that?

Well yes, lithium is an alkali metal (did you know that? Pouf-pouf-pouf ...) when we say “no metal”Is“ no metal ”.... https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium

what is called "metal" in general is the metal in the form ... metallic, therefore reduced, zero oxidation degree ... not the compounds of this metal!
metals are conductors, cooking salt is not (solid in any case, molten is something else).

especially one who should review his chemistry lessons ... : roll:

I know that, and it is partly wrong. For example in Li-ion batteries, there is a need for other “real” metals (such as you would like to present them to us to suggest a possible contradiction in my remarks) in the itou sodium-ion battery,
so back to square one: when we say “without metAsked”* Is“ without metAsked”This is not true:

.... or else it had to be specified in the statement, so address yourself to zeenenergy, it is not me who wrote it.

: Arrowd: Here, : Mrgreen: do not thank me : Arrowd:

PS: when we put “without” the word metal does not come in the plural, since there is none. I'm just literally echoing the zeenenergy error.

I didn't say the opposite, I was just wondering what he could have put in his pile to make contact: apart from the charcoal I don't see (but it's natural and we can eat it, it absorbs gas and bloating;)).
