Seen!

Some nonsense on the part of the presenter who in her intro confuses hybrid and "Flex-fuel" but overall interesting, with a good approach to the reservations expressed by FNE, an openness to the future with these INRA tests and a conclusion on the limit bio-fuels. Good report I think.

The only thing I find surprising are the FNE figures on energy efficiency, I will have to compare with the data I had ...

I am also very interested in the performance data. In a "newspaper" of the rural coordination (agricultural union) I do not remember but I had seen a very low ethanol yield (less than 2 I believe ie 1L petrol for ~ 2L ethanol), but not at this point. And already there I found (them too) that it was not worth the cost, as much to take the surface used to better feed the population (no GMOs, less chemicals).

The 2002 PriceWaterhouseCoopers / ADEME study reported énergétique (therefore not reported in liters) of 0,49 to 1 for bioethanol, or 2,05 energy units produced for one consumed.
In liters, with the ethanol PCI, it would be different ...

By the way, those who have not read the "Prost report", I advise you to do so, it reads easily and it is quite interesting.

Thank you Bucheron, very interesting. Now I wonder how it will be possible to produce it in sufficient quantity without harming the food part. Besides I wonder if there has not been a magic trick in terms of the costs to come back when I see this:article
