As explained by Macro, there is a compatibility issue with some older vehicles. But the "non-E95" E10 (which still contains up to 5% ethanol) is doomed to gradually disappear.

Is the same graph for the B7 vs Diesel?


I no longer use the E10, not for reasons of compatibility but of proven higher consumption compared to the SP95 (I was the first surprised, checked and re-checked). It is ultimately more expensive and more polluting.

The E10 can on certain engines generate an consumption ... See on for example certain Alfa Romeo deemed compatible lighting of the anti pollution warning lamp failed on ignition and erratic operation ... While its ethanol content is only 3 % more than the classic sp95 ... Weird but .. That's how it is ...

I didn't think this type of fuel use was still relevant. With manufacturers who are mostly turning to electric... It's not better in terms of ecology.
