The higher the compression ratio, the better the thermodynamic efficiency of the engine ...

I agree (see my edict have crossed our posts) : roll:

The modification for the compression ratio would be according to Scania made just with a change of pistons (combustion chamber less voluminous in the head) ... How the vilo and the cylinder head support the additional efforts ??? For the injection it is a story of gasket ... Then the calculator .. it is "easy" to do what you want with ... That said or you needed a liter of fuel it will take about 2 liters of gnola ...

Turning the heating in my 106 elec E85 (instead of sp95) I can confirm that the caloric power is far from the same ...

In short being given the necessary engine modifications and the necessity to create a new fuel ... I do not see the utility of the thing ... Using an engine ignition controlled properly adjusted to ca they could use what already exists. ... .from E85

Why not use the controlled ignition and injection adapted as the bus CNG? CNG also supports very élevé..donc compression ratio can be a CNG engine (well optimized) also has a higher compression ratio.

I think it would be less expensive to fit a CNG engine to ED95 ... well maybe this is what is done!

ps: in Strasbourg since 15 years, no more new diesel bus is purchased park passes CNG gradually ... from a friend who works in the CTS

Yes as a CNG engine, diesel base with spark ignition.

John Deere has developed a diesel engine that recognizes all imaginable and fuels used in correcting the mapping ... For at least a 5 7 years .. of a ethannol pig fat (almost). ..

Oh diesel multifuel, it exists in the army since 40 or 50 years: AMX 30 for example ... by against the change was not easy, I think the compression rates were adjusted (not variable adjustable road but stopped when a fuel change).

Because the mapping yes it matters but it has its limits !!

I also memory of a New Holland tractor CNG ... wait: http://www.gaz-mobilite.fr/actus/le-tra ... n-988.html
With Fiat's Nef 6 engine, I don't know if it's a Diesel or a "base" gasoline.
