no but it's not vegetable oil from the supermarket that we put in!
fortunately there are all the necessary additives! anti corrosion, overheating etc!
Biolubricants have been around for several years, like chainsaw chains for example!
and vegetable oil is much better quality than mineral oil!
You did not know it ?
compare the technical sheets you will see!
the biolub is a 12W40 which has been reclassified in the 15W40 but it is a 10W40 in the same way ... the house of ecology on the net sells it 30 € for 5 liters (like the plantomot 30 € for 5L but c is 5W40 !!).
otherwise the company "la charentaise des lubricants" delivers it to you in 200 liter casks at 1.65 € per liter! free of charge of course ...
I want it and I'm not the only one!
I bought the plantomot on www.monopoel.de who sells stuff to make bicarbruation kits at 2 times cheaper ... excluding promotions.
it starts very well, see its viscosity index when cold, effective in winter!
"the vegetable will always be stronger than the mineral" ...
Engine oil of vegetable origin for emptying
Features of the biolub:

For the plantomotor, no details.

the "lubricant charentaise" manufactures a quality vegetable motor oil, on the basis of TECHNOL processes (the late manufacturer of the legendary heliant oil)
but hey, since the death of the boss of technol, the formula and the manufacturing process of the heliant oil has been carefully stored where we can not find it right away ...
finally, charentaise oil comes from the same family.
as for the Swiss industrial oil which was mentioned above, it is biodegradable for sure but it is not vegetable .......... petroleum, petroleum .....

Hello...
Sorry to dig up the post but hey ..
In fact I have a 50 cc 2 stroke scooter ...
And I drove with separate lubrication with biodegradable motul 100% synthesis for 5000 terminals then there 4000 terminals while rolling with the mixture ...
I tightened my 70 cc kit by mounting a carburetor 19 set a little low in gasoline ... but I wonder if it can't come from the oil because I tightened the 4 corners and it could be linked to a lack of oil ... (I drive at 2.5% however ..).
My question is: do biodegradable oils degrade quickly ... in particular on contact with petrol in 2-stroke engines?
Because if this oil is less polluting, I do not know at all what is its lifespan in the oil tanks, and its lifespan mixed with petrol.

If you're too poor, you hug ... there is no miracle ...
No, I think they have the same "engine" properties as mineral or synthetic oil.
Otherwise it would never have passed the various approvals and certifications. The only unknown would be the duration of resistance over time: can a lubricating vegetable oil be stored for 10 years while retaining its properties? There is clearly marked "rapidly bio-degradable" on the fuchs plantomot ...
In your case this does not arise since you consume and therefore renew the oil "quickly".
I am not a specialist but I think that a good olive oil can last 20 years or more ... under optimal storage conditions.

Re: Vegetable engine oil for oil change
I only found this old topic to post this "tip" on how to get rid of your engine oils easily and in a "green" way
Frankly you see !! It's not more complicated than that ! What are they pissing us off these stupid ecologists !!!
