Convex road mirror ... is it also concave?

Convex road mirror ... is it also concave?

I would like to make a Schlieren camera (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schlieren_photography ), the centerpiece of the assembly is the concave mirror.

It is easy to find large convex mirrors of this type:

My question is simple: has anyone ever taken one apart? I would like to know if the concave side is also reflective ?

It's a plastic mirror so chances are it was treated on both sides ... right?
