in summer there is no more problem! we open the doors and the windows

in winter a double flow ventilation is the right solution, not only to dehumidify, but in addition to evacuate the chlorine

many public swimming pools which do not ventilate enough to save energy in winters we have a pretty bad atmosphere

Hello
after 5 months of use I noticed with evidence that the summer poses little problem because ventilating by opening the skylights and the windows is enough ........

but for a few days with the freshness, the humidity outside and the obligation to close the openings this is more complex
and I always operate a domestic dehumidifier (12l / 24h)
which is enough for now but I doubt for this winter

of course I cover as soon as possible

and so I'm considering a breakdown

maybe a DF vmc box placed in the cellar and powered by fans on solar panels

several questions can I find a box alone?
can i install the box away from the suction cad 5 m?
the fans I looked for in 12v provide max 160m3 / h is this sufficient and will they resist the chlorinated atmosphere?

thank you in advance

Alternative Low Teck with less energy!
In winter,
we have cold outside air to cool a metal plate and cause a thermal shock.

The colder it is, the higher the yield! : Mrgreen:
Don't forget to defrost

Hello

well i think my topic is not too exciting

or we have said everything and I understand that there is nothing to say

nevertheless I try one last time here is the diagram of the ventilation that I envisage it remains in closed circuit so as not to lose calories it uses the relative cold of the cellar to condense and the VMC box to recover some calories

the air renewal will be discontinuous through the regular openings of the frames

Question buy or build the box? in plexi with polycarbonate for the exchanger

I haven't reread everything.

A simple dehumification method consists of mounting an air conditioning in the room: you circulate the air and the fluid does not loop:

a) first heat it up (condenser): the heated air will "absorb" the humidity (in fact, its RH will drop; it will tend to recharge)

b) after crossing the room and being charged, you pass it through the evaporator, which is frozen; the evaporator will condense; the water will run out; you evacuate it

c) at the other end, you return to the condenser ...

The heat balance is n ul: the air cooled on one side is reheated on the other. It will consume, of course. The balance is that the humidity will tend towards that corresponding to saturation at the low temperature reached in the evaporator.

[it is also for this reason that a refrigerator dries out food if it is not packed; and the evaporator (the forid plate at the bottom of the fridge) drips ...]

[This system mounted in an insulated box can be used as a dehydrator for products such as felurs, fruits ... without heating, therefore without denaturing the products: you just have to "loop": the air extracted from one side, cools , will return to the other end to be reheated ... Going from cold to hot, no need to insulate the return ducts from the air ...]

PS: I invented nothing; it's just a possible tinkering based on this type of material: http://www.deshumidification.net/CATINDUS.pdf

why do you want to get confused with photovoltaic powered fans?

if you invest in photovoltaics, put an inverter there to inject into the network, and that will save you electricity whatever the device that consumes: therefore optimum profitability of your photovoltaics

and for your fans put the 220V fan that you want without limiting yourself to 12V

then how do you want us to give you figures? you should rather measure in detail what is happening in your current dehumidifier

if it is currently enough, it may also be sufficient in winters ... I don't see why the problem would change when the outside temperature decreases ... the only thing that changes is when the outside temperature allows us to ventilate as much as we wants to open everything ... as soon as we have to heat, and reduce ventilation we are in the same situation whether it is 10 ° outside or -20 °

you should also see how your dehumidifier is built: a hot part and a cold part, and a heat pump between the 2 is not enough for the best possible performance: you need more heat exchangers like VMC double flow to pass from one temperature to another without loss of energy

a well-designed dehumidifier should be more complicated than a simple heat pump

So you have to see how yours is made: if it is well done it can be more profitable than any other solution because it would already contain the right exchanger

confuse me?
simply do not consume at EDF
simply by rotating that day and therefore without inverter

if i wanted to mount a PV installation to produce there i would complicate my life and anyway it is a professional place

putting 220 in a damp room near a pond is neither reasonable nor allowed

and I'm not asking for a number, but an opinion on the idea and the feasibility

if the outside temperature drops and the outside humidity also seems to me that the condensation will increase

I can perhaps be satisfied with a classic deshu ...... winter will tell me I would have liked to have a more muscular solution from where my shema which circulates a larger volume of air and which dehumidifies in the DF exchanger
