Hi,
1st cleaning after 800kgs of granulate
Slight deformation of the nozzle, so I will replace it with a stainless steel tube this summer.

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum, I signed up after reading the post of dede021385 on the making of a pellet burner.

I take my hat off from 021385 for your achievement.

Hi from
As I am quite annoyed with the ignition of my pellet burner, I would like to know how you hacked yours (it seems to me that it is a stripper resistance) a small diagram would be welcome
Thank you in advance

Hi tran,
after 1 year of using my boiler I have just made changes.

Switching to a continuous current fan for better control: bad idea !!
Impossible to regulate a perfect combustion, I do not know all the subtleties of the burners but I have the impression that it takes a certain "pressure" out by varying the speed of the fan, the pressure decreases and the combustion is totally rotten ...

And then the auto filling in granulated by suction.

I put the video of the operation, bye bye the worm of 2M

Hello !

for adjusting a yellow flame oil burner to a blue flame (on this forum), the fuel injector head is adjusted via a threaded rod at the end of the burner where the air is blown into it via a constant motor / blower: this distance adjustment regulates the air pressure for combustion: it allows the famous blue flame!
if too strong: it goes off, if too weak: yellow flame, etc ...
this is done via the blower which pressurizes the chamber which closes + or - (hence the pressure)

Will I allow myself to ask you for photos / diagrams on your connection to the condenser: is it still the old gas boiler or is it the new one with the condensers in the wooden box? you place them well out of smoke?
how did you place your wooden box? it does not burn?
finally how did you connect? the cold return of the radiators on the condenser, in series or parallel?

congratulations again for your DIY achievement; =)

Hello,
yes the condenser is at the outlet of the boiler, it is a copper exchanger from a standby gas boiler.
The wooden box inside there is a radiator to evacuate the heat of the condenser via the blower of my vmc double flow.

I did not connect the condenser to the water return from the radiators, because I have a water temperature too high to condense at 100%.

?
Well it does not matter, it condenses nonetheless?
Well, I mean, you're getting heat!

you are at what t ° C in return of radiator? and starting? you can possibly lower it, you need how much in ° C?

Departure 70 ° C and return to 40-45 ° C.
I have cast iron radiators.

With my system, from 30 ° C it condenses

Another auto pellet burner built by pilot-68-u5326 / (found in archives of forum)

The functioning pellet burner fixed on a log boiler also self-built

Hey dede021385! You had done a great DIY there ... So a little digging up of the subject to find out how your editing behaved after 3 heating seasons?

Thank you for your return! 8)
