What are you getting at? A piece of cake is not a measuring device (at best an information collector, an analyzer, a producer of statistics and a memory for storing information). You still need a sound level meter connected to the computer ...

bernardd wrote:Already done in the case that I discovered but no result: rather a diagnosis of "madness" on the complainant ... all the more upsetting.
This is really very serious. The diagnostic models used by certain psychiatrists are true sieves, when it is not purely and simply for certain doctors of malicious intent: either of cases to make a "clientele" captive. And if you fall for it, you have little chance to get out of it. It is enough that the doctor comes across a case of mild behavioral disorder (in a society full of drift, we are almost all in this case at one time or another in our life ...) ... which would absolutely not require not are intervention in the absence of insomnia caused by this problem ... to fall into its purse. It is very good to underline it Bernardd, the psychiatrists are an excessively dangerous caste starting with the experts who place from now on the victim as become "patient in spite of herself" in an insurmountable umbroglio or by simply refusing to take a position by omitting the expert report, either by giving an unfavorable non-opinion or by passing the ball between "experts".
These are outrageous practices. In fact, if the victim who has become patient despite herself refuses to seek treatment, it can be considered as a refusal to compel treatment, thus rendering the victim even ultimately guilty ... And that yes, can end up causing mental health problems ... It must be understood that people who are weaker than others, can be locked in a system from which they can no longer get out by it- same: by definition: an expert who is always right ....
If that is the case, in these extreme cases it is better for the victim to renounce any claim and to look for other solutions, a "simple" move will be less damaging for her in the end.

I heard that you can make very simple recordings by putting a simple antenna in the microphone input of a sound card ... But not on this frequency, I will try now that the alcoholic vapors dissipate ;-)

That's the point ... In this case it was not even to my knowledge until a medical evaluation. Just making a noise run is enough to discredit ...

Especially when the real effect of infrasound passes for a joke: hence the interest of finding concrete and verifiable examples.

... if we rebel against a psychiatric expert and that we institute proceedings against him, it can also be detected as a behavioral disorder ... See also the case of Outreau which says a lot about "the rumors that run": suicide and broken lives.

When you are a victim and you have lost your bearings, it becomes very difficult to self-assess a situation. It takes time, a commodity that the courts generally do not leave you available.

Some info for Infrasons:

http://depris.cephes.free.fr/presscom/2 ... index.html

The military use of was prohibited by an international moratorium signed in 1986 in Geneva. It is true that “IS” weapons, of very simple design, hardly interested industrialists. The fact remains that a simple airplane engine coupled to a pipe tuned in length can collapse a building more than a kilometer away.

Since infrasound is by nature inaudible (like ultrasound) (**) - therefore undetectable by the natural senses with which humans are endowed - it is never easy to demonstrate environmental pollution by IS. In addition, measuring SI requires the use of special equipment. These are sound level meters specially designed to receive a filter which eliminates audible frequencies and lets in only sonic frequencies below 20 Hz (infrasound domain).

Measurements can therefore only be carried out by a specialist who is familiar with this type of material and capable of interpreting the data collected. This results in a cost of expert opinions which is generally not within the reach of individuals. To date, most acousticians are not able to make expert reports in the field of non-audible nuisances (infrasound and ultrasound).

There is however a little "technical trick" which allows, with simple means, to highlight certain pollution attributable to infrasound, when these are transmitted by the ambient air. Indeed, if they are not audible, infrasound can, from a certain power level, be detected (but not measured) by the simple fact that they can “modulate” an audible sound having a perfect frequency- fixed.

(**) Inaudible for humans but not for certain animal species. This is particularly the case for elephants whose organs are adapted to the emission and reception of certain IS frequencies. They can thus communicate at very long distance thanks to sounds that are not audible to humans. In the case of ultrasound, we know that it is by emitting such frequencies that bats can move in the dark (sonar principle). The human ear is theoretically sensitive to frequencies between 16 Hz and 18.000 Hz but this varies according to age and from one individual to another. A "good ear" picks up frequencies from 20 Hz to 15.000 Hz and it is especially in the field of high sounds that the ear quickly loses its effectiveness. At 60, many people do not perceive much more than 10.000 Hz (10 kHz).

In the laboratory, we use a LF generator which generates any sound frequency and injects it into an audio amplifier. Today, these small BF generators - once used by all radio-TV technicians - have become difficult to find. One can, however, use an audio cassette or an audio CD on which one would have recorded a signal with fixed frequency (like the 1.000 Hz which was used formerly for the sound adjustment of televisions and which accompanied the test chart).

At home, it is enough to use this audio signal which will be broadcast in a conventional Hi-Fi system, if possible by broadcasters far enough apart from each other (as is the case for good stereophonic installations). We start with a sound level and gradually reduce the power. At each power level, we circulate a little in the room where the detection takes place.

If an infrasound is present in the environment, there will come a point when the fixed sound diffused by the loudspeakers will give the impression of oscillating, of varying in power according to a very precise rhythm. In fact, the fixed sound will be “modulated” at the frequency of the infrasound. If the IS is only detectable with a low noise level, it is because its power is fairly average. But if it is detectable with a high sound level, it is because it is itself of high power.

This method of detection of IS therefore makes it possible to highlight IS of medium or high power and it requires involves proceeding by trial and error, by repeating the test at different times and in different rooms. SIs have the particularity of being very long waves whose effects can be weak in such a place and important a few meters or tens of meters away. If we consider the frequencies from 1 to 20 Hz, we can easily calculate that the wavelengths in air will be between 330 and 16,5 meters (approx.). We can therefore, depending on the frequency considered, find a maximum and a minimum of intensity by moving away from a few meters, a few tens of meters and even more than 100 meters. It will be the same for the SI transmitted by the ground (with frequencies sometimes lower than 1 Hz) but by considering totally different propagation speeds (and variable according to the nature of the ground).

Indeed, with a high-end and overpriced sound level meter (Bruel and Kjaer), we can make measurements, in the near infrared. I had one with a filter, but I sold it recently.
A condenser microphone does not yet cost so much (around 80 euros new for a Behringer) but does not go down very low (15 Hz)
What you can try to objectify is to take a speaker, for example 13 cm in diameter, mounted on an acoustic speaker and use it as a microphone, plugged directly into an oscilloscope.

As soon as you have been able to highlight something empirically, it should be possible to contact the Ministry of Health or the labor inspectorate.

To highlight the origin of this kind of sound, you need 2 identical microphones, separated by about thirty meters and operate by phase comparison. You will probably need two aperiodic preamps because the Y inputs of the oscilloscope used to produce Lissajou figures are not very sensitive.

If you have an open mind, the Flitox link is reminiscent of the biblical episode of "Jericho's trumpets" where the Hebrews destroyed the city walls.

You just have to start the scenario against the Israeli concrete wall…

My thesis on the fall of Jericho is different: the Hebrews played a lively music and the inhabitants of Jericho made themselves fall down the wall ..... while dancing :D

It is on a 7-day rave, with religious songs, in front of the city walls, the city has imploded ...

Hello,

On infrasound, their causes, their measures, their effects on living beings, only one good address: the CNRS establishment of Marseille, a whole lot of documents in library years 1965/1970 (direction Pr GAVREAU and company)

WARNING ! 7 Hz can be deadly at medium dose! The 15 Hz leaves traces in the soft cheese that serves as our brain!

Hello,
I am also a victim of a low frequency since the return of the cold.
unable to locate source. I live in a small Marseille house in the center, separated into 4 apartments. I went around but nothing.
maybe the terraced houses ...
Head hold guaranteed in the evening.
I just experienced a noise generator on android plugged into my sound system, a sine wave at 50hz, and believe me it's better!
phase cancellation principle. I do not know if in the long run this is very good ...

finally here is the link:
