I caught a mole rat (the real one, the big one), yesterday ... It had gnawed a stalk of chard whose root was just the size of the trap. I took off the gnawed foot, put the trap in its place. And clack! The advantage of "martyr plants" (there, it is about spontaneous emergence, which did not bother me more than that; I left)

A mini mole rat, the Pallas, will not see 2022 but has nevertheless benefited from our carrots.

We change the trap, here a German one, but the prey is the same. here one of the Pallas above what remains of 6 m of radish.

This mole-rat, a Pallas, was caught in front of his gallery while he was trying his incisors on kohlrabi after attacking frisée, all these vegetables being in gauge. These critters particularly like cheese crusts before any other bait.
