1360 hello
when the beef "scandal" (where was the scandal?) took place, nobody, among consumers, had noticed the taste difference (well, it must be said that all shit must taste the same then ). So it's likely (but it's not about to happen) that this shit will taste the same as the current shit.
NB: sorry for "repetitive profanity" but it's just a repetition of the formula.
if we consider that non-test tube beef is already shit: where would the difference be?Okay, that said, you really have to want to eat shit to hit the test tube beef, right?

you don't have to worry between the "prototype" of a product and its industrialization, it can take decades because it is not an object, but a sanitary product and barring lobbying pressure, there is a long way to go. It's just a publicity stunt to get credits!
For industrialization in 10/20 years, the researchers confuse the laboratory (strict environmental conditions) with the industry where these conditions cannot be met. Unrealistic dreamers!
On the other hand their argument, that in 40 years (much earlier in fact) there will not be enough meat to feed the world population at the rate of the current consumption, is legitimate. We will then have to make choices between less money at exorbitant prices (the wealthy do not have this problem) or no longer produce plants which for animal consumption.

Currently, the experimental "in vitro" steak is produced from beef muscle stem cells.
What will prevent the production of steak "in vitro" from human muscle stem cells tomorrow?
And there will be doctors to declare that artificial human meat is the most suitable for our diet.
And we will offer "in vitro" meat produced from stem cells from show-bizz or football stars, political or religious leaders ...

Excellent idea. Those who have tasted human flesh find it delicious and they come back to it. Better than the pig it seems. (the first one who says "it smells of experience" I put it in spit)Leo Maximus wrote:What will prevent the production of steak "in vitro" from human muscle stem cells tomorrow?

None, and it is already under study!
It is a question of replicating human cells in order to be able to create "replacement" organs, fortunately for medical purposes.
Nevertheless, a certain number of mad scientists are working on what is called the synthetic biology, the idea is no longer even to modify the genome of a plant or an animal but to create new forms of life ... we can therefore imagine new forms of meat intended to satisfy the palates of consumers of future ...
