Good evening, there, I found it under the straw, in two different places, maybe there is elsewhere.
it's a bit overwhelming, it's gooey, I don't know what it is
I hope the photos make it pretty good.
Do you have an idea ?
Thank you in advance for your help.

If it's a mollusk, well done, you've found a new species. "Lophotrochozoa crumpled"?

Thank you very much, indeed there is a photo that looks very much like it,
on the other hand Wikipedia says that it is found on the surface, on the roadside, in my house is well buried under a thick thick straw and wet, where perhaps its sticky side, it can not absorb the 'air.
But it's true that it must be a Nostoc, I didn't know at all.
Thanks again, have a nice day

I have seen them in the aisles for years, thinking that it is a mushroom ...
(not the same as fripuillou.)
I just made a culture container consisting of 30cm of BRF, expecting that it will turn into 30cm of topsoil thanks to the mushrooms and there are lots of nostocs.
Knowing that nostoc is a pioneer and nitrogen-fixing organism makes me appreciate this organism.
Nature is well made !

No, it's still sticky. It was probably there before the straw or imported with it. It takes volume after an episode of rain and dries up in dry weather. On the grass it is rather green-brown. It may be the fact of being in the straw or the lack of light that gives it this color.fripouillou wrote:at home is well buried under a thick thick straw and wet, where perhaps its slimy side

Thank you for your answer, now that I know that it is a nitrogen fixator, I am reassured, but it is still tedious! this is the first time i see that, have a nice day,

Interesting! before knowing i would have said mushroom ...
And if it's "tasty", it's good to eat
"These colonies of Nostoc are eaten, exchanged for corn, or sold in the markets of Cusco or other neighboring towns. On the Peruvian highlands, it is an important seasonal food, consumed alone or in" Picante "(sort traditional stew) 33 said to be very nutritious "
