Didier, I am fully aware that a predator does not completely make its prey disappear. In the report the guy had the same reasoning as you. He tries to be resilient and accepts like you to give the part of the angels as you say.

watering of my "organic" sweet potato therefore normally without anti-germination
potato stuck with 3 toothpicks placed in a pot filled with water all placed on the radiator
I use this method which worked last year to have stems, and because it is the one that takes up the least space, I start early this year because last year it really took a very long time to get shoots and therefore could not make cuttings

the 4 cuttings of the stems that I had left are dead, so we count on this one : Mrgreen:

I was luckier than you with my cuttings, even too much. I left with the idea that not all would take, and I made thirty cuttings. Finally there are only five, who did not want to participate in this adventure. : Mrgreen: Okay, let's say I have room. Right now everyone is warm next to the radiator.

This year the sweet potatoes were not successful. I was 6 feet but as it is very packed in my garden, they ended up either under tomatoes and aubergine peppers. Either under the cauliflower. Suddenly despite the well-developed leaves, the harvest is poor about 2 or 3 kilos per plant and as I harvested late after a lot of rain half of it rotted.

The further north you go, the more difficult it is. The sweet potato likes warm soil, and humid heat ...

The normal place of the sweet potato is in the islands, in Benin, in Togo ... It is native to the tropical part of the Americas and / or Polynesia ...

In the southwest, with much more "sums of temperatures", we can get by ...

Further north, it is the domain of the potato, not sweet, that one!

And at Santa Claus, it's better to be content with lichen herbal teas!

I do. Without performance targets. More for mole rats ...

All this is the fault of global warming, which is not enough !!! We are told stories ...

a friend bought an olive tree, so we are optimistic we will begin the plans of the press

for the sweet potato, it's an attempt, and as you say, no yield claim, because even if it's good, we always invite moderation

achievement of the day
5 jars of cherry jam,
there will be blue plums and plums, blackberries and rhubarb
the quince jelly is finally rather successful, I will have to adapt my recipe to simplify the realization, in any case it has an excellent taste
I hope for next year, jams of strawberries, currants and raspberries

Oh when I hear about mirabelle plums, I miss it here. I have a Mirabellier on my land, it has never given, but this year a very small production, not to make jam, but an honest portion for two : Wink:
