Yes, and the more it goes the more the soil digests well what we give it, too, paths, in the orchard, mulched with sawdust did nothing, the grass pushed through and we had to cover them with hay , without apparent hunger for nitrogen ... here I can not buy the hay, and it will take at least 6 of 450kg. The 20 m3 of little wet boots from last year are almost eaten, in addition to the straw, my personal crops and brf.

Tomatoes on green manure, continued.

I left the last time forgetting to cover them ... not really clever, but they are still alive ... the oats it is raised and the rest continued to dry ... good watering and mulching in surface composting and it will start again.

Cucurbits on (or under ...) living green manure, canvas and hay.

It is a new plot abandoned for 2 or 3 years with nettles, brambles and various. In the fall, a rotation of rotavator and sowing of missed green manure, phacelia, purple radishes, rye, puffs, sainfoin. No earthworm. Black and drying alluvial soil.

At the end of May, planting of all the pumpkins and others, under vegetal cloth and hay at the end of the roll. Without weeding, in a vegetation of about 30/40 cm.

The hay plants are clearly more beautiful, and yet in a less dynamic area, with a little less competition. FYI, per m2, hay is 2 times cheaper than canvas ...
The green manure finally made a nice volume, mostly poppies, helped by phacelia, purple radishes, vetches and some sainfoin. The regrowth of nettle, bramble, bindweed and purslane is very limited. I was able to cut off the head and tear off the Some dairies which exceeded everything, before flowering.
No photo when leaving ...
The plants have just gone to bed, each plant copiously watered, about 10l and I intend to pass the brushcutter, once All the seeds are very ripe on the next pass.
Depending on the grip of the pumpkins and the weather, I would like to sow green winter fertilizers between August and October, on the fly.

Beans in a Chinese planter.

Still no photos ...
Nickel, only the 2 lines too competing (horsetails and weeds) that stayed too cool were eaten almost 30%. Zero antilimace this year, there are few with little damage but are developing, be careful in the fall.
The other lines are beautiful, with a slight delay compared to my neighbors with the easy watering can and nonexistent weeds.

Green peas.

A single harvest, about 2kg, with three weeks we would have had a nice harvest of cooler peas, with a month and a few degrees too much, the seeds for the Next year are guaranteed with about half the harvest. To limit the bruche, I hesitate to leave them all winter in the freezer, against a few days this year.
Lots of worms in 2 of the 4 varieties. Only one line continues to mature in the garden, the others are torn off.

beautiful your green poppy fertilizer!
my humble opinion on your way of doing things, is that this may be how we will all garden in the future!
I hope that one day we will have the opportunity to meet Phoenicians and we have the opportunity to exchange around this with a good beer ...

The rotavator is a "tiller" on the back of a tractor.

[Originally, like horn, fridge or pen, it's a brand]

I guess you were talking about rotofil?
