Great you are doing very well
Like what the frost is not the same a few km, even if we are a little higher ....
But your vegetable garden is also well sheltered ...
That there are tenants it is not too serious as long as the fruit is good

As you can see, they are all, or almost, eaten by all kinds of insects: it looks like HLM so there are people in it! Beetles, crickets, earwigs ...
They have room and board
And since there are not many ripe fruits, they are attacked as soon as they take on a few colors, even the greens are attacked!
I got this when production resumed after the heat wave.
At home, there, it is launched. A laundry tub was harvested two days ago; We will start again tomorrow. Despite plants very attacked by mildew and co (alternaria ???). Some are now roasted from top to bottom!
My hypothesis for inhabited fruits: poorly formed, poorly closed fruits should it be said (zipper syndrome), because of the heat wave. The locals that you find take advantage of the fact that the door is open to settle in, snack on ...
Currently I only have a few "zipper syndrome" left, but the fruits are closed. It's just an aesthetic stain. They are no longer inhabited.

Re: New lazy 04 kitchen garden
Yes that's it and I also noticed that, only the tomatoes closest to the ground / hay, and therefore the most accessible, are inhabited.
The others at the top are just snacked. Floors without elevator should not please them
The production of zucchini was not, however, fabulous. With 4 feet, last year I no longer knew what to do with it, whereas this year, still with 4 feet, I barely had to pick up ten, but very beautiful nonetheless.
One of the legs made us 1 zucchini while it is full of flowers
I have the impression that the zucchini came later and that the production will stop sooner. I hope I am wrong.
The WE last I stopped watering the heat being less strong, and as it had to rain in the middle of the week I hope to be able to collect some fruits / vegetables this evening when I go up.
Wait'n see ...

I left on drought ...
On cucurbits, the heat changes the proportion of male / female flowers ... There are flowers ... All males for example. So we see flowers, but we can still wait for production! Look closely at your flowers.

Re: New lazy 04 kitchen garden
I think I have the same phenomenon except that I still do not know how to distinguish the male flower from the female flower
For tomatoes we can clearly see the effect of heat ... or not depending on the exposure:
This one, exposed to the sun, exploded.
While that one, under cover of greenery, although larger, remained intact.
Attacks on green tomatoes:
And the rest ...
Some visitors have left traces:
I don't know why the photos come out wrong !!!

Least effort, it is easy, the male flowers are thinner and the female flowers have mainly at the base the fruit in miniature and in addition with regard to cucumbers, pumpkins, creeping cucurbits, the female flower is at 'end of the main liana or on the end of a branch.

Thank you Did!
No I'm kidding, thank you Phil ... me it's devilish
Ok I understood.
Another little question: which ones are edible, because as long as you lose flowers that will not give fruit anyway, you might as well exploit them before they wilt!
