picked 3 zucchini and not badly becoming, on this side on the other hand it is good, a little pickles, and some cucumbers but they with a slow development it is not top level size

Still no rain, since the heat wave started ...

The temperatures are rather cool, but the sun is quite bright, even if from time to time a cloud passes ...

The rain will have had the advantage of watering the garden and vegetable patch without having anything to do (except in the tunnel) but also of putting out a big barn fire a few hundred meters from the house ....

I do not know the cause.
During the aperitif on July 13, I will probably know more.

Little topo of the season:
Like a lot of people, my tomato feet are crumbling under the fruits ... green : Shock:
An impressive quantity of tomatoes, only a few of which turn red. The production is low and I count on the beautiful late season to harvest some more before the frost.

If not for the rest I had a lot of salads unlike last year when they were seeded almost immediately.
The reason: this year I planted them behind the tomato plants and it's perfect.

For the zucchini: RAS

For beans: RAC (nothing to pick) : Shock: all puffed at the level of the leaves, a real carnage!

For the peppers and the eggplants I am quite satisfied: I had recovered seeds in extremis last year on rikiki fruits which were not even edible. Well this year they have grown relatively well if you consider that no one in the family had managed to grow eggplants in this area until then.
I hope that from year to year they will give better and better.

Tomato harvest last WE:

As you can see, they are all, or almost, eaten by all kinds of insects: it looks like HLM so there are people in it! : Cry: Beetles, crickets, earwigs ...
They have room and board :o
And since there are not many ripe fruits, they are attacked as soon as they take on a few colors, even the greens are attacked!

The small tomatoes (cherries and cocktails) they had no problem with blushing:

A record for me:

Yummy good sauce !!!

I planted melons very late and I still have a specimen of a dozen cm in diameter! Who knows, if the heat persists ... otherwise it will make seeds for next year : Wink:
