I agree that some people make a profit and spend sums that are disgusting, when a boss who makes 8 a month of wages plus the benefits of the box, who refuses a 000 € increase in Christmas bonus to its 10 employees, because the year has been difficult, we can be angry, but that is the problem of these people without morals and without ethics and it is not by becoming like them that we improve the system

Re: Eating ORGANIC: not a guarantee of food safety
While the AB products subject to recall were already over-represented during the 2018-2019 period (7,7%),they represent more than a quarter of recalls (25,6%).
We must regret that this problem occurring in May 2020 was not more publicized and especially resolved! Companies that had product recalls for this reason in 2020 are having recalls on identical products again in 2021. What have they done in the meantime? Didn't the first withdrawal serve as a “lesson” for them?
We are entitled to wonder whether this is a sign of a relaxation of health security due to a lack of personnel during this period, especially as a government site ( 1), listing the recalled products hardly had any activity during the first containment?
In fact, there has been an almost doubling of the cases of contamination by listeria, salmonella and mycotoxins.
This explosion of cases is mainly due to the detection of a pesticide: gaseous ethylene oxide (= EO). It is effective against bacteria (bactericide) and their endospores and against molds (fungicide).
Of the 2100 product recalls, 1254 were contaminated with EO. Of these 1254 cases, sesame contamination represents 38,25% of cases (ie 479 products).
The Que Choisir magazine mentioned in June 21 that there were no longer any products contaminated by this EO, however, on September 7, 2021, Le Figaro (2) mentioned that more than 10 food references were affected by this exceptional contamination. .
However, there are still some that are recalled until September 29. There are, in fact, several references for each product depending on its packaging and presentation (for example sold in packages of 1 kg, 5 kg, or even 50 kg or different names such as minced meat or ground steak, etc., number of copies / slices in a package, etc.).
Given the multitude and diversity of products involved, it is highly unlikely that we have been able to avoid being exposed to this substance for more than a year and a half. Even ice creams and sorbets of all brands, including the most famous, were affected.
Another aspect that should also be taken into account is that between the time a recall is officially announced, there is a minimum of a few days for withdrawals to be made at points of sale. They are therefore sold during this interval and only the consumer keeping up to date on a daily basis will avoid consuming it and how many of them will take it back to the store? But in the end, how many will be consumed (3)? https://www.europeanscientist.com/fr/op ... urs-du-bio

Here it continues to make the poiubelles ... While the industrialists continue to poison us with their shits, Izy the liquid hits on the bio by taking reference on a disgusting climatosceptic site. To not change. Say, when will you wake up?

In the green religion, which has nothing to do with ecology, "it's organic so it's naturally healthy".
Except no.
"Outbreak of hepatitis A infections linked to imported fresh organic strawberries"
The Canadian Ministry of Health recommends using chemicals to disinfect the kitchen in case of suspicion.

What you should do to protect your health
---------------------------
Check your freezer for these fresh organic strawberries purchased between March 5-9, 2022 at Co-op stores in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
If you've frozen them to eat later, don't eat them. Discard the remaining organic strawberries.
If you don't know where the strawberries come from, throw them out. Wash and sanitize drawers, shelves or containers where produce has been stored with a kitchen sanitizer (follow directions on container) or prepare a bleach solution in a labeled spray bottle (you can use a ratio of 5ml bleach to 750ml water) and rinse with water.
If you have eaten these organic strawberries, bought them fresh and later frozen them, or have symptoms of hepatitis A, see your healthcare provider immediately. Vaccination can prevent hepatitis A infection if given within 14 days of exposure.
Wash hands before and after preparing or eating food, and after using the toilet or changing diapers.
If you have been diagnosed with hepatitis A, do not prepare or serve food or drink to others.

Pesticides: when the French press goes crazy
https://www.lepoint.fr/societe/pesticid ... 466_23.phpMisled by the study of an NGO linked to the organic lobby, some media warn of the “danger” that there would be in consuming fruits and vegetables. An aberration.

Re: Eating ORGANIC: not a guarantee of food safety
nonsense in series of bouzo on the risks of "organic". It's not the bio in itself that is in question, but the chemicals that are added to it afterwards, the imbeciles of service should learn to read better.

— The CFIA is investigating the food safety of fresh organic strawberries purchased between March 5 and March 9, 2022 from Co-op stores in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
There are currently no food recall warnings associated with this outbreak.
