By the way I planted a few onions that were germinating in my kitchen: onion tops are great to eat !! I am surprised that they are cooked no more, it is thinner than the leek (it looks more like it actually) .... I crunched one ... raw!
if we cook the green onion, but for the white onions that we eat when they are still green precisely in bell
the other onions are harvested after the tops have wilted it's much worse
