Booster up pressure! danger ?

by soaz » 27/03/17, 13:13

Hello,
I just bought a second-hand booster but I have a problem with the use. No worries about the pump. The water comes out very well. By cons when I cut the water outlet, the pump continues to fill the tank but it never stops. The pressure is rising and suddenly I am not reassured! It went up to 5 bars then I disconnected. Do you think this is normal? I'm a little afraid of the pressure cooker ... Is there a risk of letting it build up pressure?
Thank you for your answers, experiences ...
See you soon

In fact is there a risk that it explodes?
I think the pressure switch may be blocked ...

Indeed, the pressure switch should be tested to see if it cuts and at what pressure; normally this device adjusts.
I doubt that the overpressure represents a danger, because the pump is not designed for high pressures, however, it is better to be careful ...
