Environmental impact of end of life products: plastics, chemicals, vehicles, agri-food marketing. direct recycling and recycling (upcycling or upcycling) and reuse of good items for the trash!

While the need for raw materials is still crucial for China and yet it is now refusing these categories of waste, it is also because it is reorganizing its objectives and evolving gradually (but rather quickly) from the status of exporter of consumer equipment (initially initiated by foreign firms and capital) to that of suppliers of sophisticated equipment in more valued and developing areas * (automotive, telecommunications, financial services **, Automation and AI This goes hand-in-hand with investments in Asia, Africa and Europe to create both new supply networks and markets for these new products.

* Remember that it is the stagnation of usual exports that also pushes in this direction.
** With, for example, the establishment of HSBC in London.

I see a link with the NDDL project.

Until now we got rid of its nuisance by transferring them to others.

But times have changed. Now everyone has to take care of their own nuisance. It is a very good thing.

We are on the right track!

From a purely factual point of view, this means additional constraints in a context of increased competition, since China positions itself outside the sectors that had been abandoned since it is more profitable. It may be hard enough ... : roll:
The underlying idea is that China takes economic leadership over the old powers, controlling key sectors.

Note: HSBC =Hong Kong & SHangai Bank Corportation.

I see another problem coming: the Chinese had to see that he was sending anything mixed no matter how

it was good when their price of labor was very low ... now they prefer to buy good quality ore than to sort the trash of France

we will have to go back to work ourselves ... but big problem, we demolished all our metallurgical and chemical industry so we no longer have the know how to make it available ... have become a underdeveloped country! we will have to buy Chinese machines to do the work

This is a point that I emphasized at the beginning of this thread.
The treatment of this waste is not, fundamentally a technical problem (for a good part), but economic: do you think it is possible to succeed where the Chinese give up? :D

If China succeeds in its conversion (and it is likely), it means a global increase in economic activity, a temporary rise in the standard of living on a larger scale (because the losers of this competition will give up their old privileges) and therefore an increased destruction of natural wealth. The rhetoric about ecology and CO² reduction will nevertheless continue ... rest assured.

Note: it would be good to correct the unfortunate spelling of the title and replace "created" by created "...
