The need for batteries is increasing. There are on average 25 battery-operated devices per household http://www.amisdelaterre.org/Seme-pas-tes-piles,2212.html , and these devices, more and more sophisticated, are more and more energy-consuming…
But these batteries are polluting. Above all, you should reduce your battery consumption and stop buying disposable batteries. Real aberrations! Rechargeable batteries with their charger certainly cost five times the price of disposable batteries, but they can be recharged up to 1000 times!
An original alternative to point out: the solar and wind mini-chargers offered by Uniross and sold for example at Nature et Découvertes http://www.mobilehub.fr/2008/06/09/l%E2%80%99air-le-soleil-et-uniross-quoi-de-plus-naturel-pour-recharger-vos-batteries/ . But for how long ? Although it is the European leader in rechargeable batteries and batteries and that it is developing innovative green technologies such as photovoltaic solar and hydrogen fuel cells, Uniross cannot find financing to make up for its cyclical cash deficit http://www.quechoisir.org/Article.jsp?id=Ressources:Articles:649BBCDE70E93DC5C125750F0057048D&categorie=NoeudPClassement:8975536791B7A5C4C12573CD00392CA4&catcss=ENE300 . To believe that the investors and speculators who have amplified the current financial crisis would not care about ecology ;-)
Stop disposable batteries!

Message a bit of advertising, right?
I remind you of the presence of batteries with us too (The Camelions are as good as the Uniross) Battery chargers and rechargeable batteries
As for solar cell chargers, do not dream it is not ecology but marketing, they are practical for campers and hikers but at home their use is marginal and I doubt that the gray energy of their manufacture is profitable over their lifespan in comparison with a smart charger on sector (which one can also hack to supply it with 12V solar): https://www.econologie.com/shop/chargeur ... p-186.html
I could be wrong. An estimate should be made ...
