Good evening, here is another type of compressor

also from the recovery siding, it comes from an air conditioning and seems to be rotary piston, so I wonder if this model
can be mounted with a tank, like compressors with oil bath or fridge

or if you just have to use it as an inflator, in my opinion the guy who made the video, will probably make a compressor with tank
since on his channel youtube I saw that he does in model making

good night

Good evening, here is a new trend with these fridge compressors, open and reuse them

and as we talk about recovery on household and general appliances, washing machine or dishwasher pump, drum motor
here is a rather dangerous DIY with recycling on a microwave oven

I let you judge for yourself

Hello,

The microwave oven has plenty of treasures for the electronic handyman, in particular in addition to the magnetron, two powerful ferrite magnets, a capacitor and a THT diode and a 2500V transformer in the 2 KW ("quite dangerous" as you say : Lol: ).
A few years ago I debunked miracle machines that claimed to produce more energy than they consumed, which I of course never saw, and my microwave oven that had dropped has been helpful. I easily lit six 220v / 150 W lamps in series (we can see the transformer and the capa next to it):

Good evening, we can also find high voltage transformers in the old TV with cathode ray tube

good night

Yes. These produce a much higher voltage (20.000 to 30.000 V), but are much less powerful, only a few mA at these voltages therefore not fatal unlike the transformer of a microwave. But from experience, I can say that the chestnut produced is not particularly pleasant, and even dangerous if the transformer is still connected to the cathode ray tube, which constitutes a capacitor which once charged is capable of supplying more power than the transformer .

Good evening, here is another hack with a microwave oven transformer
explanation of the principle

and here is a welding device made with this system

For my part, what I found potentially interesting in the dismantling of microwave ovens is the magnets that could be placed in place of the winding in automobile alternators to make wind turbines. the position of the polarities would be compatible, unlike the magnets of the speakers, but I have never tried it ...
