when i was a teenager, i had once done a fridge compressor for someone to inflate tires short it was of basic utility
http://veloptimal.com/forum/viewsujet.p ... &start=210

it looked like the photos below in the link except I added a hose with manometer and tip from a hand pump
we will say that it looked more like that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfZBIy37V7o
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5BKrMw ... sponse_rev

on the other hand I do not know what is the difference between a compressor of fridge and a compressor with bath of oil for airbrush which I quoted above

Attention danger with the compressors of fridge, it can pass the 20 bar or kilo of pressure and explode the tank of reserve if no safety valve. The gas is no problem since it is butane purify.

I refilled a fridge that had no more gas with butane a standard bottle it to work but the 2 eme recharges the compressor blocked after a while.

Well seen Bobono. It takes not only a safety valve, but a pressure gauge (or something ...) that will automatically cut the load, otherwise we consume energy for nothing.
There is two possibilities. Either electric or a switch that works thanks to the pressure (the depression releasing the relay that will turn on the load, and so on ...).

Or do it by hand with a manometer dehumidifier (if it is for an airbrush application), but it is very risky not to put on!

Oli: I do not have the answer but it seems to me to have understood between the lines (it is necessary to reread), that the compressors of the fridges were in the category of "silencers" and so I deduced perhaps a little quickly, what would they be (note the conditional) to oil bath? And to make things worse, there are completely silky refrigerators like the Sibir ... Mebon, in recycle. a silent or no we do not care a bit as long as it is gratos, peu-têtre?

Good evening, in fact a compressor of fridge is in bath of oil, so the silent models for airbrush resemble those of the fridges but inside I do not know if it is the same here is a link with seen inner of a compressor http://www.tout-electromenager.fr/piece ... sseur.html
and here are some videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6DW4a3dHXI
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNvxz5zokOY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPMvfqBJ8Gw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jF4Ta1_-HUg

but I wonder if in a silent airbrush compressor it is designed in the same way since a model of fridge n 'and not an air compressor and works in closed circuit whereas that for airbrush only serves to compress the air in a tank

http://huguesvincent2000.blogspot.fr/20 ... ur-de.html

you will know how to do it, if I put you like this one you will soon be the pros of the compressor de frigo : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

Not bad the safety valve "home, made"!

I liked and I ask: "again"!

I love this benevolence and creative spirit.

PS: all recommendations of use in force for everything concerning the modification of electrical circuits 220V of course!

Re: Recovery of household electrical parts

by oli 80 » 29/10/16, 14:25

Hello, here are some videos where we use fridge compressors
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVhDRmhL-fo

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7i2PCMXkP_M

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uewyP3-x-Do

for those who want to make a compressor with tank it is better a compressor of gelelo
or even behind some stores they throw compressors refrigerated linear (fresh radius)
and as the scrap dealers do not get them back so much to get the copper out, so it's worth it
recover them to make compressors with truck brake tank eg

while respecting the rules and safety instructions (pressure switch, safety valve, manometers and all that is necessary)

Re: Recovery of household electrical parts

Good evening, I have just seen new videos, I confirm that there is no difference between the refrigerators / freezers compressors and the oil bath air compressor used in model making and airbrushing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJprdpx8FCY

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZodXRrW8ZAI

it is exactly the same inside the difference is very slight, because on these models of compressors
is 1) the oil level bubble, 2) the cap to refit the oil, 3) the lid is removable

it is the only difference with refrigerant compressors that do not have these 3 features

good night

Very good solution for small flows: a Spanish company in Barcelona (whose name I have forgotten) sells professional solutions based on this principle, with 1 or several groups per tank.

Good evening, this is the compressor model you are talking about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auOlWzuIw3w

and here's a fact with frigos engines https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4v0E8bTPyQ
