FYI, what we treated with Biocarbonyl last summer has not changed! (South-facing barrier on the West side of the house: therefore subject to the sun very often and prevailing winds).
5 to 7 € for 5L (but increasing price trend !!)
Lack of luck (for you) I think it's not imported to France ...

The wood has drunk everything, and the color is nicer than drain oil. See you in a year or two to see how it goes
I did the same thing a little more than 2 years ago on a door, mushroom resulat after a month, suddenly I did it again with the "soap resulting from an esterification test of the oil of frying and since it is impeccable, last year I did the same with 2 doors a window and a post (new ) and nothing has moved yet

In short, you put vegetable oil on the “spaghetti” of pests? yum yum
These oils are going rancid, right?
You will have the impression that you forgot the bottle of Aunt Emerence's oil in a corner, hihihi!
Bon appetite larvae of all kinds
Ok, I don't make a prognosis, after all, why not?

suddenly I redid it with the "soap resulting from an esterification test of the frying oil and since it is impeccable,
Indeed, there are wooden houses which are centenarians, the inhabitants wash their houses every year with soap. It's in the mountains; but I don't know where.
But the wood used is special too, the trees used have grown in a fairly cold region, which means that the fibers of this wood are fairly tight, if I remember correctly.
Lietseu, stop scaring me

When my oil dries, it forms a kind of gum.
Delnorman, your oil also forms a gum when drying?
So, my darling, let me point out to you ... that practically all oils make an eraser, even the finest used in watchmaking, sooner or later, by erasing!
But don't worry, I was just "beating you down"!, When in 2 or 3 years everything will have dried, put them in linseed oil and don't change the model afterwards…
Either way, linseed oil after a number of coats ends up clogging the pores of the wood and hardens as long as it becomes completely waterproof!
With greetings from Lietseu!
