Opinion: price of a plate heat exchanger used?

by sparow » 13/10/11, 13:50

Hello,
I want to have opinions on a plate heat exchanger that I found in a hangar that I just acquired, hoping to be in the right section :? Image

it measures approximately 120 cm, all stainless steel with 2 large fans,
I had the idea of reselling it to finance a (small) part of the beginning of the works in the hangar, but I have no idea of its value,
I would like to have your opinion on a price order at which I could put it on sale, thank you in advance

Ah it is not a plate heat exchanger but an aerothermal coil (air heater) of a cold thermodynamic circuit (large fridge, air conditioning or freezer). So I changed the title of the topic.

A plate heat exchanger of this size (120 cm high) is several MW of thermal power, it is "heavy" industrial equipment and it is worth more than 20 € HT new. It weighs in the 000kg at least ...

Your heater is probably worth a lot less.

To get an idea of the value of this material, the simplest would be that you look at the reference and that you type it on a site of small advertisements or that you find unit heaters of equivalent dimensions ...

Otherwise, another method: look at the new price from the manufacturer and divide by 2 :)

I would say to the ladle 2000 € max (under sealing condition). You don't have the cold group that goes with it? (it would sell much better complete).

The manufacturer and his address in Italy:
http://www.europages.fr/ECO-REFRIGERAZI ... prise.html
Seat :
ECO REFRIGERAZIONE SPA
Casali Pustot 33056 Palazzolo Dello Stella (UD)
ITALY

Tel: + 39 0431 586 232

and see all google:
http://www.luvata.com/en/News-Room/News ... VE-range-/

http://www.google.fr/search?hl=fr&sourc ... l0.5.1l6l0

Ask for the manual and information, because the material of the filters and the actual operation makes the price of an exchanger !!
www.EcoRefrigerazione.com seems to have disappeared !!

Certainly in Fahrenheit, 60 ° C to 80 ° C, even 100 ° C, in the US sun, south in summer, at the latitude of southern Morocco !!!
but to drink all these cans, to make m2, you get bigger than you heat, after well padded and well insulated on the body, you no longer need to heat !!.

Another cheaper solution with 100m of black pipe at 10 to 15 € per 100m:

This is what I use for my 32mm and 40mm diameter watering. I can assure you that it heats up quickly!

The even simpler and lighter 16mm cheap hose for drip less than 1Bar is more than enough to make inexpensive sensors under cheap plastic or polycarbonate sheet and hold 10 years in the sun.
