Biodegradability layers biodégradables..après 7 years!

by Christophe » 16/03/17, 14:10

I'm changing my compost and what did I find at the bottom?

Old diapers supposedly "biodegradable" that my little one put on ... almost 7 years ago ... so it's not all "fresh" eh!

But some photos are better than grand speeches:

In short difficult to trust the said biodegradability... and yet I think that in terms of bacterial conditions, a compost is "not bad" ... or else I have to explain :D because ultimately EVERYTHING is biodegradable, just a matter of time scale, just like oil is renewable ...

I had already noticed this with a "biodegradable" pen which was not at all: Waste-and-recycling / starch-de-but-test-to-biodegradability-and-a-pen-t6726.html

After that how do you want ecology to be taken seriously ... rallalalaa ... : Evil:

Hello,
You weigh the remains and you compare to the weight of the layers of biodegradable origins at 99%. If it exceeds 1% of this weight, you will file a complaint against the manufacturer. : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

Clearly 99% of the initial mass remains there : Mrgreen:

So they are (maybe ??) biodegradable ... at 1%? : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

I don't remember the manufacturer at all, but it's clearly a breach of trust there ...

Frankly, I would not have dared, even biodegradable, I do not put the so-called biodegradable bags in my composter.
Go find out what bastards are going into it so that it self-destructs in a short time.

It was indicated on the box "compostable: to throw in the compost" ... but obviously it is not ...

Maybe after 50 years there is (almost) nothing left :?:

Until they have indicated the necessary duration, they are unassailable :?

Absolutely and with the same reasoning we can say that petroleum is a renewable energy ... : Cheesy:

It still smells of intellectual dishonesty ... :?
