The spot is interesting because it is based on the damage in the water network caused by used oils (if there are a lot of people who still have to swing them like this) and then the look is nice (like Monster Lunch ) ...
The most interesting page is that on the fate of used oils:
The final treatment of the frying oils, fondue oils or frying fats used is independent of their origin (domestic or professional) or the way in which they were harvested (in packaging or in bulk). If, for example, the frying oils, fondue oils or frying fats used are collected in plastic packaging, then the treatment process is organized in such a way that both these plastic packaging and the contents are recycled.
The frying oils, fondue oils or frying fats used are, for the most part, transformed into less polluting biodiesel fuel, 57% in 2005. The biodiesel obtained from this waste can, after the recycling process, be notably mixed to traditional diesel. In addition to this transformation into biodiesel, 35% is processed in products such as agglomerated wood, plastic, industrial soaps, lubricants ... and 8% in combustion in the production of green current (not in Flanders).
The processing of frying oils, fondue oils or frying fats used in animal food has been prohibited by a European law on food safety.

ps: well it's not really for us since those who can (diesel car) recycle it at "the source"
