Industrial composting: by suction or insufflation?

Environmental impact of end of life products: plastics, chemicals, vehicles, agri-food marketing. direct recycling and recycling (upcycling or upcycling) and reuse of good items for the trash!

Industrial composting: by suction or insufflation?

by laurent_caen » 15/02/07, 16:45

Hello everyone
I'm not sure if I should post to this place forum
voila, I am a student in engineering school and we must, as part of a design office project, compare the insufflation to the suction in forced ventilation (basically, advantages and disadvantages) during the maturation of the compost.
However, I can find absolutely NOTHING on the net to find out so if you know something about it or know which site (s) to go to find the necessary information.
it's very targeted as a request, sorry, but if someone can accede to my request, I will be all the more grateful.
thank you in advance

I do not know if this is what you are looking for, but here is a site not very hard to find:

Subject moved to "waste and recycling"

I don't have a very complete thing to offer you but look at these 2 links all the same:

https://www.econologie.com/le-compostage ... s-952.html
https://www.econologie.com/forums/tout-savoi ... t2796.html

Have you looked at the side of engineering techniques (waste treatment ...) you should find your happiness:

http://www.techniques-ingenieur.fr/affi ... nid=364969
http://www.techniques-ingenieur.fr/affi ... nid=364970

Especially in the 1st:

3. Composting
3.1 Objectives and principle
3.2 Microbiological aspects
3.3 Important parameters and implementation of composting
3.3.1 Control parameters and implementation techniques
3.3.2 Characteristic parameters of the waste
3.4 Vermicomposting
3.5 Characteristics and uses of compost
3.6 Current state of development
3.7 Industrial example. Naturba process

You have to be subscribed to engineering techniques to have access to articles, right ?!
Is it expensive ?! And, for the subscription, you have to go through their review ?!

I vote for the writing of concrete post and practicality.
