The rear shock is also crappy but it's less sensitive than the fork.

It is a simple spring without any shock absorber ... if necessary, it will be much easier to change!

This solution I know it thank you, I did not need to post here for that! Reason hey! : Mrgreen:

A two-seater is necessarily heavier! Diet or not, it will be heavier ... if I lose 30 kg I am stunted!

Okay, I measured the fork in more detail:

Diam. outer tube stem: 38 mm
Diam. handlebar stem: 25 mm

Thread diameter before rolling: 30 mm

Your axis does not seem threaded (from the outside), it is a new system not compatible with these old gallows ... This is what the Decathlon seller told me when I asked them the price of one new fork ...

Your opinion Guy ???

And I imagine that the tube holder tee is made of aluminum?

So adaptation by welding is not possible it was the last step I had in mind ... : Cheesy:

(am not equipped to weld the aluminum, I know no one who is and using a pro will certainly cost the base price of the bike!)

So, I ask my question again: how to reinforce a fork in ... rde ???

This is to increase the inertia at the longitudinal deformation (i.e. in the length of the bike) and possibly torsional (along the stem axis)

Hey Guy, who seems to know the quality bikes?

We can not find new forks with this old fixing system ??

This system does not seem to me specific to decathlon and even less to this model ...

You have the external thread to the central tube, right?

I measured 25 mm ... so I guess it's 1 inch ... After the exact net ??? I hope it's still normalized ...

I did a quick search, there are some models available in thread, but it became very rare apparently!

And then also that the seat of the rolling directly low is compatible: the outer cage is 45 mm ...

What a mess for an ATV!
